Windhover Information has successfully deployed Cranium Softworks’ Entitlement Management Solution (EMS) and Cranium Content Publisher (CCP) to publish the online version of The RPM Report. CCP is used for authoring and creating the online content and EMS is used for intellectual property protection and subscription management.

CCP is used for the editing and creation of the RPM Report. Authors use Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer to author and edit articles. These articles are stored in CCP’s central XML repository. This repository is used to publish each article in multiple formats:

• HTML for Home Page, Table of Contents and article pages with graphics
• RSS
• InDesign interface for print layout
• HTML for e-mail notice to subscribers

CCP assures consistency of style and format for both current and archived issues of the publication through the use of customized publishing templates.

New subscriptions are captured through EMS. Additionally, EMS is used to track and report web site activity. Usage reports allow management to monitor and analyze subscriber activity on the site.
